Really useful

These are my first pair of crocs, and were bought on the condition that it’s really hard to tell that they’re crocs, as long as they’re kept clean. They offer really good support and stability when standing for long periods of time (no issues even though I have back problems), and they’re a good commuting shoe, especially when you don’t want to look like you’re taking a jog on the way to the office. They also protect your feet better than sandals. They do well in wet weather on slippery surfaces, and while commuting I often walk over marble (no wipe-outs so far, which is more than I can say for a lot of my other shoes).

They also almost never rub my feet, EXCEPT when they are damp inside, which is unfortunately inevitable if they’re worn for more than 2 hours or worn in hot or humid weather. However, if you can wiggle out of them occasionally, this can be combatted somewhat (as mentioned in the previous review, although I’m personally embarrassed when caught barefoot outside of my home generally). When wet, they also rub very quickly, like the time I got blisters from walking for only 15 minutes on a very humid day, so beware.

Given all of this, I wear these shoes in a lot of semi professional settings, can run in them and go through the elements in them, can except orthopedic support from them, and feel like I look sort of pretty while doing all of it. They also still look exactly the same as when I bought them 5 months ago even though I have been wearing them about 50% of the time since. They take a beating and fill the role of what normally would be a very expensive shoe otherwise – they were a good investment for me.

Not a comfortable shoe at all

I bought these shoes for me and my mother. They are a really pretty looking shoe but both of us ended up not wearing them after a few tries. They bothered my mother’s heel so bad she had to take them off after just a few hours. When I wore them I found the arch quite uncomfortable after a short period of time and my feet ached terribly after wearing them for a whole day at work. I have a sitting job so it’s not because I was on my feet all day. I also found that the nodules on the foot bed were very hard and uncomfortable compared to other Crocs and the bottoms of my feet hurt to the point where I had to take them off to get any relief from the pressure on my feet. I absolutely love Crocs but I do not recommend these shoes and I have since removed them from my shoe selections.

Not my favorite Crocs

I bought a pair of Alice Work Crocs but am disappointed in the fit. I have bought other crocs size 7 and this pair is a little larger, and a loose fit in the toes. They have extra padding in the heel, which is nice, and are comfortable enough, but I don’t think they’re worth the [...] sells them for.

The entire book is filled with all kinds of drills (most of them are very creative but there are some that are imposable to acheive or exsecute; there are few drills that I would not recommend to a coach). If you’re not a coach this book is NOT for you!!!

Another pattern book of soccer drills.

This book is similar in concept to the book “Dutch Soccer Drills Vol.I” by Richard Kentwell, which I also reviewed. The fundamental comments and criticisms that I made in that review about training for soccer by running such rigid patterns apply to this book as well. This book also does not have hardly anything in the way of tips on basic techniques for ball control.

There are several reasons why I give this book a slightly higher rating: First, the diagrams of the drills are more simply laid out and are easier to understand – and so if your soccer training philosophy actually includes running such rigid pattern drills, this book might actually be a useful guide for such training. Second, many of the diagrams simply describe how to lay out a simple “skill” type of drill to practice a particular type of skill, rather than running a complex pattern drill. Third, the book has some interesting comments about how the ODP (Olympic Development Program) selection process is run (at least by Schmidt et al in his region). Fourth, the commentary accompanying each drill is better written and tells you what each drill is actually supposed to teach.

great shoes for a low price!

I bought these shoes with low expectations because they were so much cheaper than all of the other bowling shoes I have looked at, but these shoes are great! They are really comfortable and are stylish. Make sure to buy a 1 shoe size smaller than what you normally wear because these shoes do run big.

You get what you pay for

I bought these shoes because of the price. With shipping they are about $5 to $10 cheaper than most of the others out there; however, as soon as I put them on I knew why. Even thought they say 10 1/2 they are more like a 12. I normally wear an 11 and these are still quite a bit larger. On top of that they are quite uncomfortable; the dip for the ankle is too high and causes discomfort. The material for the shoe is also quite substandard, made from a cheap plasticy leatherette. I would recommend spending a few extra $ and getting a decent pair of shoes, I think I will be donating these to charity.

Not much has changed

I have the Saucony TR2′s and have put 100′s if not 1000′s of miles on them in about 2 years. Soles are wearing now, finally, but still a great shoe nonetheless. Well I finally bit the bullet and looked for some new shoes and saw these TR6′s. I guess I missed 3 models but these are pretty much the same as my TR2′s. This is a good thing… if you find a shoe that works I recommend you stick with it. Fortunately these seem to be about the same quality and comfort, so far so good. The only thing that bothers me is that the TR2′s came with great round laces that stretch a little bit, and these come with the newer designed laces that aren’t that flexible, but no big deal. If everything works out, they should last another 2 years of every day wear and running 6-12 miles per week. My favorite shoe company!
As a side note, if you’re ordering these without trying them on first, I would try a half size larger than normal as all of my Saucony shoes usually run a bit small. Hope you’re happy with them.

Great shoes at a good price

I replaced a 2 year old pair of Saucony TR2 with these. At the same size, they fit just as well as the older pair. Very comfortable while running, working out or just for daily use, with little break-in time needed. Compared to other brands, they seem to fit about a half-size lower.. that is, if in doubt, I would err on the side of choosing a smaller size.

Very happy with these, I’ve logged at least 400 miles of trails and probably ten times that in the shop. Good shoes, these are going on my shopping list for every 6 months.
